Eman Mohammed

Palestine

Eman Mohammed, 25, was born in Saudi Arabia and educated in Gaza City Palestine where she started her photojournalism career at the age of 19 in 2006.
Eman's work focuses on documenting the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, including invasions and wars that frequently occur in the area and the formation of armed militant groups in the strip .
The main body of her work has moved from covering the Israel's bombing blitz of Gaza in 2008-2009 and death perpetrated through Israeli shelling of the territory in a hard news style, to a Long series of sensitive women issues and the aftermath long term projects.

Eman Mohammed's photographs expanded to reach other countries within the middle east through her project "Diaspora/ Ouyon Lajeaa"

Her work was published in Guardian, Le Monde, Washington post, Geo international, Mother Jones , and Haartez.
Clients include the National, The Observer, Brownbook,Save the children, UNDP, UNRWA, UNESCO,The Elders and .
Eman Mohammed's work was recently acquired by the british museum in London.
Her ongoing long term projects "Diaspora, iWar and Di-vor-cee/Taleq " will be finished by the summer of 2014.
