Emily Farrington Smith is a Southern tumbleweed who has finally planted roots just outside of Charlotte, NC.

Emily is a freelance writer who has written in the travel and tourism industry since 2010. Her first book was published in April 2011 and she is currently working on a collection of essays.

Someday she would like to write and illustrate children’s books, volunteer at an elephant sanctuary, rehabilitate an old farmhouse and live out in the country… complete with goats and chickens.
