Hi, my name is Ella Cutrona and I am a freshman at the University of Georgia. I am from Colleyville, Texas, which is a small suburban town right outside of Dallas. I graduated high school this May with honors, was the president of my class, president of student culture and spirit, and was an officer for and a member of many other service organizations!! Since I was president of my class, for graduation it was required of me to give a speech. I have always been a very talkative and outgoing person, but the thought of speaking in front of 5,000+ people scared me. Once I got up on that stage though, something came over me and all my fear was gone. It was just me, my friends, and the staff of the high school that I had spent most of my life at. It was then that I realized I had a really cool and helpful ability. As conceited as it sounds I discovered that I was good at public speaking. I actually liked being in front of large audiences, and telling them things that I care about. I don't necessarily know how I can involve public speaking into my intended major of insurance, but the social aspect of being able to speak to anyone might come in handy! All-in-all, I'm a super bubbly, fun person and I love making friends! So please come say hi and I'd love to chat about literally anything! :)))
