Michael Marshall Smith

Michael Marshall Smith has published eighty short stories and three novels — Only Forward, Spares and One of Us, Hannah Green and her Unfeasibly Mundane Existence — winning the Philip K. Dick, International Horror Guild and August Derleth awards: he has received the British Fantasy Award for Best Short Fiction four times, more than any other author. Writing as Michael Marshall, he has published six internationally-bestselling thrillers including The Straw Men, Killer Move and The Intruders. His latest novel, The Anomaly, was published under the name Michael Rutger in 2018.

He lives in Santa Cruz, California — and additionally works as Creative Consultant to The Blank Corporation in LA, advising on TV shows and movies in production and development.
