I am a Cleveland, Ohio native who graduated from Shaker Heights High School in 1988. I attended Carnegie Mellon University from 1988 to 1992. I graduated in August of 1994 with a BFA in Art. My main course of study was ceramic sculpture and metals. I joined the Boilermaker's Union in Oakland, California in 1996 to take arc welding classes and took more welding classes at the Lorain County Joint Vocational School when I moved back to Ohio in 1998. I took welded art classes from Chip Rathwell at the Lorain County Community College and later taught Techniques for Welded Art. I currently reside in Huron, Ohio and have four children from ages 3 to 19. Life is never boring here.
