Emil Kampp
I was born, a healthy baby boy, in 1984 in Denmark. My parents moved around a lot because of work, and we got to live in places like Tanzania, Egypt and Greenland.
Ever since, I have been traveling all over the world, and I have prioritized and continued traveling. Although I have been a great many amazing places I must admit, that deep down I have a special place for the african continent.
Currently I work at Benjamin Media, in the interactive department. The department is in charge of the company's online profile, and developing the webservices used by numerous websites throughout the company portfolio.
I have been working with Ruby and Ruby on Rails for some years now, and I feel quite at home with the technology. Unfortunately there's little interest for it in Denmark, so I'm working on some projects to further the love for a great, human readable, scalable and useful language.
I promote fast user driven coding, where you itterate many times, each time, consulting the customer, to ensure that the product ends up just as they want it. I put a great effort into every project, and tends to the details, both security and ease-of-use.
In the past I have worked with both PHP, Python and several other OOP languages, in variuos projects, and both on the front- and back-end part of the web-experience.
