Emile Swain

Having spent 23 years developing interactive experiences for AKQA clients such as Acer, Nike, Netflix, Fiat, Usher and MTV, Emile has now moved from Advertising to Product development. Recently joining https://www.neurotech.biz/ to help develop software to Improve Opportunities For Marginalised Communities.

A developer at heart he's worked on many award winning campaigns including Nike Speed, Coke Cola, Nike World Cup and the Nike FuelStream display at #Nike #SXSW #Counts.

Whilst his early work had been delivering high end flash experiences and interactive DVDS, Emiles role within the Creative research and development department at AKQA had always been to make the impossible possible, working out how every new advancement in technology could be applied to client and creative goals. Emile worked across technology, creative and UX teams to introduce some of the the first mobile phone and tablet apps, AR & VR experiences and introduction of AI services (IBM Watson, Conversation, Rank & Retrieve, and later on chatGPT and stableDiffusion training and prompting).

Emile brings to Neurotech a wealth of experience as a Technology Generalist; UX development in Figma, Modelling in Blender, Mobile development in Flutter, and javascript(express) bankend service development.

Emile also has a range of interests outside of work having recently taking up Traditional climbing (Wales, Lakes, Scotland & Alps) and also has a 2nd Dan in Aikido with the Isshinkai School of Aikido.
