Early Life and Roots

I was born in Cameroon, a country blessed with breathtaking landscapes, diverse cultures, and a people known for their resilience and warmth. Growing up in Cameroon instilled in me a deep appreciation for community, tradition, and hard work. My formative years were filled with lessons from family and elders—values of integrity, perseverance, and service—that would guide my life’s journey.

Academic Journey

Eager to expand my horizons, I pursued higher education at the African Institute of Computer Science (IAI) in Libreville, Gabon. There, I immersed myself in technology and computer science, laying a strong foundation for my future career. My time at IAI was transformative—not only did I gain technical knowledge, but I also learned the importance of discipline, innovation, and problem-solving.

Years later, my passion for improving systems and helping people led me to earn a Master of Science in Healthcare Informatics. This allowed me to merge my technical background with the healthcare sector, working to bridge the gap between medical services and digital solutions.

Entrepreneurship and Business Ventures

My entrepreneurial spirit came to life in Massachusetts, where I co-founded Sahel Restaurant & Lounge in Lowell. More than a restaurant, Sahel became a cultural hub—celebrating Afro-Caribbean and Cameroonian cuisine, music, and art. It is a place where flavors tell stories, and people from all walks of life can come together to enjoy a warm and authentic experience.

As a business owner, I have learned that entrepreneurship is not just about profit—it is about creating spaces, opportunities, and experiences that uplift the community.

Community Leadership and Cultural Advocacy

My dedication to community building has been a constant throughout my life. Today, I proudly serve as Chairman of the Cameroon Social Club (CAMSOC), an organization with a long history of bringing Cameroonians in New England together, fostering unity, and preserving our heritage.

In addition, I lead the IT Department of the High Council of Cameroonians Abroad (HCCA) and serve as the President of the HCCA Massachusetts chapter. In these roles, I work to strengthen the bonds between Cameroonians abroad and our homeland, leveraging technology and communication to promote collaboration and progress.

Vision and Legacy

From Cameroon to Boston, my journey has been one of learning, building, and giving back. I believe in the power of education, technology, and cultural pride to transform lives. My vision is to continue creating platforms—whether in business, community leadership, or technology—that connect people, promote growth, and honor our shared heritage.

I see my story not as one of individual success, but as part of a larger narrative of the Cameroonian diaspora—one of resilience, ambition, and unity. My hope is that my work inspires others to pursue their dreams while staying true to their roots.
