Emilie Myers

I am Emilie Myers, an experienced learning and development consultant and management development consultant. I have many years of experience in the corporate world, developing employees from graduate level to senior partner. Based in Horsham, West Sussex, I work with people and companies in the South East as well as London. I have also worked within Europe and the Middle East.

Trained in facilitation and instructional design, I have conducted company-wide training needs analyses and evaluation projects; working at a strategic and curriculum level. I also offer coaching and feedback to individuals in their personal and professional development, helping them to develop a wide range of skills – from giving presentations to writing.

As a specialist in People Development, I primarily use the Emotional Intelligence model in my training and coaching programmes. True emotional intelligence includes having a deep sense of compassion for all living things, being able to put yourself into another person’s shoes and extend sympathy to others. Through increased self-awareness, my clients are able to maximise their personal effectiveness and improve their communication skills – both in the workplace and at home.

My professional qualifications include an MSc in Change Agent Skills and Strategies from Surrey University, a BSc (Hons) in Geology and a PGCE in Secondary Sciences. I am accredited in Emotional Intelligence assessments for individuals and for leadership programmes. A member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, I have also designed and delivered a Leadership Development Programme for a large national organisation over a period of five years.
