I love working (and playing) with children and teens, reaching out and helping others. I like fun. My best self wishes to be creating and absorbing others' creativity each moment, curiosity abounding.

I am the present Chair of the Diversity and Outreach Roundtable for the Minnesota Library Association.

I am the former librarian at Science House: A Resource Center for Educators, a special collection of STEM resources (physical materials and beyond!) at the Science Museum of MInnesota. I am a graduate of St. Catherine University with my Masters in Library and Information Science.

I presently work at the Gale Family Library at the Minnesota History Center.

I read a LOT of comic books, give presentations to other librarians (on comic books and diversity, mostly), write poetry, and make many a library display. I also make comic book jewelry in my spare time. I rock climb and bike around.

I have strong feelings, am a devoted friend, and have professional skills in being both excited and worried. This usually results in excellent work, all considered.

I am extremely competent, if not stellar, in tough situations.
