Emilio Moure

A member of the Knights of Columbus since 1985, Emilio Moure held several key positions in this organization. The Catholic fraternal order serves more than 1.8 million members located in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Poland, the Virgin Islands, Cuba, Panama, and other countries. Emilio Moure served in several elected offices of the California jurisdiction, earned membership in the elite Circle of Honor, and held the office of State Deputy from 2006 to 2007. During his time as State Deputy, Emilio Moure also sat on the Knights of Columbus Board of Directors, and in 2007 he became a staff member at the organization’s headquarters, where he took on the position of Executive Vice President of Business Process Management. In 2010, Emilio Moure became the Knights of Columbus Supreme Secretary, a position in which he handled operations of a number of administrative departments at the Supreme Council office.

A believer in giving back to the community, Emilio Moure proudly served this organization that provides volunteer opportunities in the areas of church, family, council, pro-life, youth, and community. Emilio Moure assisted in the Knights of Columbus’ partnership with the Global Wheelchair Mission. The Knights of Columbus also supports various charitable programs, including Food for Families and Coats for Kids.

The Knights of Columbus has spawned numerous religious programs designed to reach young people and provide seminary training financial aid. Emilio Moure also supported the organization’s awarding of scholarships to those interested in obtaining degrees from Catholic colleges and universities in the United States, Mexico, Canada, the Philippines, and Puerto Rico.
