From running being my absolut everything as a child I suddenly found myself in a hospital bed weighing 25kg with no hair...
At 11 I was diagnosed with osteosarcoma (cancer of the bone) in my left femer. I eventually had my leg amputated at the hip. After feeling as if I had lost almost everything swimming came into my life, and since then its been one pretty amazing journey. After going to the 2008 & 2012 Paralympics for South Africa. I got my eyes on the prize for 2016 Paralypics which will be held in Rio de Janeiro.
