UPDATE | Wrapping up the final picture edit of the narrative feature film "Apache Leap", written and directed by Christian Rozier. This film was produced/shot on location and follows a day in the life of a family on the San Carlos Apache Reservation.

"The Gathering: Roots & Branches of Los Angeles Jazz" documentary continues its festival run with a premiere at the Black Harvest Film Festival. I co-produced and edited the project with Tom Paige over the past few years. The film showcases a multi-generational jazz band in L.A. and features the music of Horace Tapscott and the musicians from Leimert Park. Find out more about the film at thegatheringjazzfilm.com

As a lifelong visual artist and storyteller, I work in film, video, photography and multimedia, creating fiction & non-fiction narrative projects. I examine storytelling through motion pictures and still imagery, taking on highly collaborative and unique art-video projects with an emphasis on exploring social & personal subject matter and the natural world.

In addition to editing film and video projects of all sizes, I manage large business initiatives and internal operational and IT projects for MBS Textbook Exchange where I lead adoption of new tools such as Wrike and SharePoint, increase efficiencies and specialize in process mapping and knowledge management.

I am a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and holds a BFA in Filmmaking with an emphasis in Editing & Sound. My award-winning films and photography have been exhibited around the United States and Europe.
