Emily Slutsky

Emily Slutsky is a dedicated clinical informatics professional with an extensive background in science, engineering, and technology.

She received her undergraduate degree in Nuclear Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She later earned her Master of Science degree from Columbia University in Applied Physics. Emily Slutsky also traveled abroad to study medicine at the University College Cork in Ireland where she received her MD. After returning to the states, Emily completed her postgraduate training earning a certificate in clinical informatics at Cornell Weill Medical College’s Center for Health Informatics and Policy. Currently, Emily Slutsky is a researcher in the Department of Clinical Research Informatics at NIH.

Outside of her professional career, Emily Slutsky works as a tutor, helping students understand complex content in a variety of subjects. She is also an avid reader, writer, and film buff.
