I've loved American politics since 2004, when I saw John Kerry standing on a stage on the campaign trail, and at the age of 12 thought that this man was evil because George Bush was the only man allowed in the White House.

Fast forward four years, Barack Obama swooped me up in election fever, knowing that history was being made with every day he was campaigning. I followed it like a hawk, & now I can't get enough of it. I live, breathe and blog American politics.

I had a trip to DC in 2011 which completely cemented that I need to be in the thick of it. People should know about these things & I aim to make US politics utterly accessible to all!
