Welcome to my page

My name is Emily. I live in West Harlem, Manhattan. I absolutely love being a New Yorker; the fast pace, flashing lights, extravagant fashion, food options everywhere, the list goes on, the options and opportunities are endless.

I was born on July 27 which makes me a prideful Leo. I am of Hispanic descent; both of my parents are from the Dominican Republic. I am part of a loving family of four which includes my parents and older sister. Family is very important to me which is why I have such a close relationship with them.

I earned a bachelor’s degree in English Literature with a minor in Journalism from The City College of New York, which lead me to this blog. Writing has always been a passion of mine and so I always thought of starting a blog but never took the time to do so. During my last semester in college I took a social media class that pushed me into the blogging world. It has been very exciting.

My blog reflects me. I am very creative, love fashion, beauty, creating things, decorating, remodeling, and sewing. I promised myself I would learn to make my own clothes while I was in high school. Being a petite girl, 4’11 and very slim at the time, finding clothes that fit correctly was a mission.

Overall I am just a young creative soul ready to take life by its horn. I have been shy my entire life and now it is time to show the world what I have to offer.
