Emily Willis

I'm 17. I like cats and long walks on the beach. I'm super into art and I love boys. I have 2 siblings. An older sister who's 22 and a little brother who's 15. I'm pretty much the odd one in my family. I currently live in a small town that's super religious and judgmental (it's horrible). I love animals more than humans. I love writing and singing and my dream is to be a singer/songwriter. I want to travel the whole world. I want to learn about new cultures and how other people live. I'm fascinated in things that most people overlook. I believe that people should appreciate the simple things in life because simple things are just as important as the big things. I want to change the world. I get so sad when I hear about all the horrible things that go on in the world. I just wish we could all be friends and all be nice to each other. And we should be nice to animals and the earth. I love nature. I believe everything is beautiful. It all seems very cheesy but it's all true. I really like to talk. If I'm comfortable around you, I won't shut up. But I'm super shy at first because I'm really insecure and shit. I am liberal and agnostic. I won't fight with you on politics or religion because we all have our own opinions.

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They invent. They imagine. They heal. They explore. They create. They inspire. They push the human race forward. Maybe they have to be crazy. How else can you stare at an empty canvas and see a work of art? Or sit in silence and hear a song that’s never been written? Or gaze at a red planet and see a laboratory on wheels? While some see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
That is all.
