My name is Emily Matthews and I am currently a sixteen year old student in eleventh grade at Dundas Secondary School in Dundas, Ontario, formerly at Parkside High School.

I believe that if the best is possible to achieve, do not settle for anything less. Doing your personal best is already an achievement on its own, so celebrate it.

Outside of school I participate in snowboarding with friends at random destinations which I really enjoy, and was on a freestyle team which helped a lot with the concept of working in groups and helping others prepare and/or improve their abilities. I enjoy traveling, which is something i've been brought up doing with my family. I have been all over Canada, and am hoping to travel around Europe in the near future. I am an open-minded person who is always looking to make new friends!
