I am a current student in the Master of Information Program at the University of Toronto's Faculty of Information (iSchool). I completed my Undergraduate Bachelor of Arts (Honors) degree with a Major in History and a Minor in Classical Studies at Queen's Unversity in Kingston, Ontario. I am originally from Kingston but am truly enjoying my new "big city girl" experience living near the Skydome in Toronto. So far in my degree I have been most interested in dealing with audio/visual materials as well as access to and preservation of digital materials. I think this possible stems from my love of classic movies and my addiction to the Turner Classic Movie channel. Aside from school, I have been an avid equestrian for my whole life. You can see my horse Harley (registed name Socrates, from the classics scholar in me), in the background of this page. I also enjoy reading historical fiction as well as magazines such as Chatelaine. I love baking and DIY anything and as such I am hooked on HGTV and the Food Network.
