I’m a small town girl with a severe case of the travel bug. Luckily my college studies and professional career have sent me all around the world. My most memorable culture shock? Studying abroad in Senegal and discovering my host family was polygamous! Currently working in international development, I strive to stimulate economic growth that benefits the poor, a mission that I am very passionate about. My proudest accomplishment was contributing to the project highlighted here: http://goo.gl/5cKCoJ (I also wrote the script!).

As an adventurer, I always try to find a little time to explore the new places I visit; while on a work trip to Kenya, I went on a safari by myself where I was finally able to see my favorite animals, lions (pictured!) and hippos, in the wild. Aside from globetrotting, I enjoy international cuisine and wines, cheering on my alma mater in basketball, and playing Chopin on piano to unwind.

I am now an MBA candidate at Goizueta Business School looking to carry forward these diverse experiences and contribute my unique perspectives and skills in a dynamic company through a marketing or strategy role.
