Emily Russell
Chapel Hill, Nc, Usa
Guess what? I wrote this book, and you should read it.
Onward, to my fascinating life story.
Twenty-seven years ago, Emily Russell was a fetus. She vaguely remembers redness, and warmth, and a prophetic knowledge that she wouldn't get much taller.
Okay, let's skip a bit.
Emily Russell is a twenty-six year old writer of fantasy, southern horror, and the occasional poem in terrible taste. She likes slant rhyme, obtuse metaphor, and the word 'coolth', which tells you about all you need to know as far as style is concerned. Oh, and she says fuck a lot. She thinks it's essential you know this, if the two of you are to get along.
Mostly, Emily can be found with her head in the clouds and a glass of whiskey by her left hand, right hand tappity-tapping awkwardly on a word processing device of some variety. She is working on her public personality for the debut of her first novel in November 2014. She hears it's important she has one of these personality things, but, quite frankly, she doubts all the people who say this had her particular set of character in mind.
If you enjoy dry humor, dialogue-driven characterization, and have ever wondered what sort of adventure leaves you clutching a hand loom and picking splinters out of your tongue, you might enjoy her work. If you aren't one of those six people, you might enjoy it anyway.
Emily's first fantasy novel, Aurian and Jin, will be available on Amazon November 12, 2014. That's right, you bastards. Golf clap.
