After studying mathematics and engineering at Pennsylvania State University, Emily Buttorff began her career as an account executive at Tessco in Hunt Valley, Maryland. She worked nine years at the wireless communications company, rising to the position of director of business development. During this time, Emily Buttorff was consistently among the company's top performing sales professionals and was a member of the Gross Profit Club for more than five years. She subsequently worked one year in business development for Mastec and joined Nexius in 2010.

Emily Buttorff served as vice president of program development at Nexius for five years, during which time she secured hundreds of millions of dollars in new service infrastructure business and helped advance customer relations by working closely with its internal operations team. She most recently worked as assistant vice president of program development at KGPCo, where she oversaw cross matrix business development with an emphasis on Fortune 500 customers and vendor partners such as Samsung and AT&T.

Ms. Buttorff is versed in a variety of technologies, including IoT, CBRS, 4G/5G, and cloud virtualization. Complementing more than 15 years of tech-focused business development experience, she regularly attends the Mobile World Congress and is a member of the Wireless Infrastructure Association.
