I’m Emily — a Digital Marketing professional, though I like to think of my work more simply as telling stories that make people pause and listen.
With a background in Digital Marketing from RMIT and several years of experience working with content, I’ve come to realize that what I truly enjoy is not just writing, but how content can connect with users’ emotions, behaviors, and decisions. To me, a good piece of content doesn’t need to be overly complex — it just needs to be accurate, sufficient, and resonate with the reader’s needs.
Recently, I’ve been exploring a part-time role at APKSundy — an experience that has been both new and exciting. I’ve had the opportunity to work with content related to Android applications, and what I enjoy most is the feeling that what I create can help someone discover a useful, safe app, or simply make their daily life a little easier.
I also consider myself quite data-driven, but not in a rigid way. I enjoy looking at data to understand what users are really thinking, then turning those insights into content that feels natural and easy to engage with.
Currently based in Sydney, I’m still on a journey of learning, experimenting, and refining how I approach marketing — in a way that is thoughtful, authentic, yet still effective.
If content is a conversation, I always want it to feel like talking to a friend — not forced, not showy, but memorable enough to stay with them.
