I am a PhD candidate in the Jackson School of Geosciences at the University of Texas at Austin. My research uses geochemistry and thermochronology to investigate the timing of serpentinization in different tectonic environments.

About me: I graduated from AFNORTH International School in the Netherlands in 2006. Before I began college, I spent a year as an AmeriCorps volunteer with the Nevada Conservation Corps. I attended Columbia University for my undergraduate degree and received my B.A. in Earth Science and Portuguese Studies in 2011. After graduating from college and before beginning my PhD program I thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail from Maine to Georgia with my (now) husband, Sol.
