Emily Hennessy

I'm currently a student living in Hamden, CT. I am currently pursuing my MBA and recently graduated from Quinnipiac University with a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations. On campus, I've been involved with organizations such as the PRSA and the Bateman Competition team. I hope to pursue a career in litigation communications.

I recently completed an internship at a non-profit organization called BUILD Boston. I worked as a public relations intern, where I drafted press releases and media advisories, created social media content and content calendars and wrote blog articles. Additionally, I helped plan and execute organizational events.

School and work aside, I have a passion for volunteering. My parents are very philanthropic and raised me as such. From a young age, I have been donating and volunteering weekly at a number of places in my community including schools and churches.

I'm a spontaneous soul who loves road trips, the beach, hiking and water sports. As a country music loving, competitive Boston sports fan, I spend a lot of my free time in Bean Town with friends. Whether it be a Red Sox game or a Luke Bryan concert, there is never a dull moment. As a huge foodie, I'm always exploring new flavors at hot spots in the New Haven area with roommates.
