Only recently was I struck with the awareness of life’s overwhelming intricacies; its beauty, its finality, how it’s in constant forward motion and never allows us a second chance at a moment. Everything is fleeting and yet our choices so permanent. I want to prove to myself, to my family, to whoever placed my soul on this earth that my time here was not taken for granted but lived to its utmost fulfillment. I have come to the realization that abiding to a path dictated by societal norms will not bring me happiness – I strive to be unique, to do something incredible each day, to live in the reality of my dreams.
