A Division Director with the Croixstone Solutions practice at Croixstone Consulting, Emily is an organizational and workforce transformation specialist with more than 20 years experience in talent acquisition, retention and culture building. Emily holds a Masters degree in Organizational Leadership from Columbia University.
A multi-industry maverick who has fueled start-ups, Emily has engineered turnarounds in exceptionally challenging environments (including an inner city elementary school based in New York City’s Harlem neighborhood). She excels in preparing, equipping and supporting individuals to successfully adopt change in order to drive organizational success and outcomes.
Emily is a “power connector” in the greater Charlotte community who uses her social capital and professional background to engage in both economic empowerment and education causes. Her connectivity extends from Charlotte, throughout the NYC Tri-State Area, and internationally in both South America & Europe. She currently serves as a Board Member and Secretary of Youth Development Initiatives (YDI, Inc.), a nonprofit that provides disadvantaged youth with after school programming and life skills-based training.
Additionally, Emily is School Leadership Chairperson for Oakhurst STEAM Academy (a CMS Magnet School) where she helps to guide policy and practice pertaining to curriculum and student/staff/family/community engagement.
Emily is a 2018 graduate of the Jewish Federation of Greater Charlotte’s Bernstein Leadership Group. The program prepares participants to assume leadership positions within and beyond the Charlotte Jewish community.
