My name is Emily Madden and I am currently completing a Bachelor's of Science in the Psychological and Brain Sciences department at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, paired with a minor in education. After graduating in May 2017, I hope to pursue a position as an EFL teacher into an educational institution supportive of student achievement, confidence and creativity. I have a strong and diverse background of hands-on teaching experience as well as an accredited international certification in TEFL. Additionally, I regularly volunteer within my local communities with diverse populations. My past experiences both in the field of education and in various personal interactions within my local communities has inspired me to become the genuinely compassionate and driven individual I am today. As a future educator, I hope to continue my positive impact for students of today, and leaders of tomorrow.
