Emilie Majano

Hello! My name is Emily Majano and I am from Laguna Niguel, CA, but I am currently attending Biola University in La Mirada, CA. I love people and I am passionate about caring for them. I desire to be the ears to listen to those who feel that they are not heard, and the stability to walk with them through pain as well as joy. That is why I am currently studying psychology. My goal is to go forward with a B.A. in psychology and attend a graduate studies program focused on clinical psychology. I am hoping to work more with young children and adolescents in the field of clinical psychology. I desire to show people that they are not alone, that they are cared for, and most importantly that they have hope. I am passionate about pursuing my dream of becoming a therapist so that I can then go forward and help others. For this passion as well as everything I have come through myself and everything I will continue to push through, I thank the Lord for his provision in my life and the blessing of knowing Him. Jesus Christ has changed my life and I desire for my passion for psychology in combination with my love for Christ and the Church to continue forward and be a part of changing the lives of others.
