Emily Manz is Principal of EMI, an economic development consulting firm specializing in business attraction, inclusive tourism and economic development strategy, and place marketing. She is also Co-founder of Have You Met Newark? Tours.

Manz is on the International Committee of the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) as well as a World Economic Forum (WEF) Global Shaper. She also participated in Newark’s first-ever citywide Tedx.

Manz has both a Masters in City & Regional Planning from Rutgers University, and a Masters in International Relations from Central European University, and a Bachelor’s in Political Science and Economics from University.

Manz is an engaged resident of Newark’s Central Ward.
