Emily Muñoz is a dedicated advocate, writer, and student leader committed to advancing gender, racial, and educational equity. Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, Emily is majoring in Government on the pre-law track at Georgetown University. A winner of the 2024 Princeton Prize in Race Relations Certificate and a 2024 Bank of America Student Leader, Emily has written for and been featured in numerous publications, including Chalkbeat, for her distinctive voice and passion for intersectionality.

Most recently, Emily spent the past summer interning at the NYC Mayor's Office. Her work is grounded in civil rights, centering the experiences of marginalized communities through storytelling and grassroots organizing.

Emily has been a vocal force in campus advocacy, particularly around issues of institutional accountability and gender and racial equity. She leads with integrity, using her lived experiences to inform her writing and mobilization efforts. Whether through community organizing or her leadership in activism, Emily amplifies voices too often overlooked and pushes for systemic change.
