Emilyn Cahn

I work towards global justice and improving others' quality of life.

At Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science, I study public health with a concentration in urban health disparities. At Loyola Marymount University, I studied sociology and piano performance and sang in the university chorus. On the university campus, I sang at Open Mic Nights, connected with peers in culture and community service clubs, and supported Delta Delta Delta's philanthropy. For enjoyment, I fuse glass, make clay figures, sketch, collect coins, and travel the world.

I advocate for fair trade; solar panels; reusing plastic bags; research for cancer, Alzheimer's, and autism; racial inequities, particularly health disparities; Taiwanese culture awareness; feminism; and children's education.
