I'm a performing artist from the Midwest who has performed all sorts of shinnanigans on stages all across the United States including The New Jersey State Theater, The Chicago State Theater, The White House, and stretching accross the border to Toronto, Canada. Some of my favorite things to do are to sing, play music, create, cook, sleep, eat, and go on adventures. My original music has also been heard around the world on radio stations in New York City, Toronto, and the UK. Other accomplishments include the grand prize winner for RAD Arts Fall 2011 Singer/Songwriter competition with my single, "Home Is Where The Heart Is" available on iTunes, American Musician/Band of 2012 in the Radio Nation Music Awards, and just for kicks, here's a live recording of "Do What You Want" available on NoiseTrade! I'm also a fan of women being treated fairly. I have worked with young women through organizations such as Girl Be Heard, The United Nations Foundation, Girl Up, and Differences Magazine. I've enjoyed using performing as a way to empower, inspire, and raise awareness on topics that young women deal with but sometimes may have difficulty discussing. I strive to raise self-confidence in young women so they can be the leaders of today. Director/Performer/Co-Writer for National Tour "It's Been Arranged", performer at TEDxWomen 2011 Conference, and continued supporter of young women doing good. I try my best to live my life from a place of content while staying true to myself. I'll never stop learning.
