I am the news editor for SFARI.org, an editorially independent news site that covers autism research. Prior to joining SFARI.org, I was the biomedical editor at Technology Review, an international magazine and website affiliated with MIT. I have freelanced for Nature, New Scientist, the Los Angeles Times and the Boston Globe. When not writing about science and technology, I forge silver into wearable shapes and hike as many mountains as possible.
