When I'm not teaching or researching, I spend my days herding cats and conquering bad punctuation as a media consultant and freelance editor, where I help clients make sense of the mad, mad world of professional media (and zap Oxford commas to my heart's content).
Otherwise, you can find me poring over the latest issue of Bon Appétit, attempting to sate my wanderlust by road-tripping as far as my little toaster-car will carry me, nerding out over NCAA gymnastics, or trying to convert the world to roller derby fandom.
