I was born in Pottstown, PA, but I grew up in West Chester. I am one of three girls - the middle sister. Early on, I developed a love for travel and quickly became fluent in Spanish during my teenaged years. Upon graduation from high school, I entered Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. There I developed my skills and passion towards helping others and giving back to the community. I studied International Studies and Political Science focusing on the Spanish language and Latin American Studies. I graduated with honors and quickly found work for a small firm in my hometown of West Chester, PA. During the next few years I worked with migrant workers and had the opportunity to travel extensively through Mexico and Venezuela. I learned a lot with the company and developed my skills as a leader. The most important lesson I learned was the importance of pushing the envelope and not being afraid to take risks. My skills have continued to evolve to the present day. In 2011 I completed a Masters Degree in International Marketing from Saint Joseph's University. During the course of study I have truly become talented in diverse marketing campaigns and understanding cultural nuances. This program has set me apart from my peers and will be a catalyst for my future endeavors. I currently am the Director of a small non-profit organization based in Malvern, PA. The organization, Amigos de Jesus, runs an orphanage for abused and abandoned children in Honduras. The work is not only fulfilling on a personal level, but also allows me the autonomy to develop my talents and grow into a seasoned fund raiser, marketer and professional. I am constantly looking to learn more about the non-profit industry and utilize my unique skills to help this wonderful mission and the community we serve.
