Nkwegu Valentine David popularly known by his stage name Eminent was born February 14, 1996. He was born in Abakaliki in Izzi Local Government Area of Ebonyi State. His genre of music vary from Hip Hop to the lastest genre, Banku Music. He is a song writer and singer.

Eminent had his primary education at Emmy Int'l Nursery & Primary School in Ogun State. He thereafter attended Unity High School for his secondary education also in Ogun State.

Eminent started music at age of 7, when he moved from his hometown to a city named Ijoko in Ifo Local Government of Ogun State. It wasn't an easy task for him when he started, because he found it hard to get a good studio, but he never gave up, and continued to push forward till date.

He was never signed to a record label, but it failed due to some circumstances. Eminent has recorded a couple of songs. His first studio produced song, "U Bad" was released on the 22nd of July, 2015. Following the huge success the song brought for him among his peers in his locality, he dished out another hit titled "Ogini" in December of the same year. The hit that made him an household name in his locality was released on the 25th of May, 2016 titled "Maga". This song was so amazing that it generated 70 downloads on the first day that it was released.

Eminent is a splendid vocalist and has proved to be versatile as his unique sound suits Afrobeat, R&B and Hip-Hop. His recent studio work titles "Ready" is produced and mixed by 'Stranger Mix'. His song navigates from ballad full of depth to controversial subject matters. As well as, songs that are meant to get you on your feet dancing and forgetting your sorrow.

Eminent has been consistent ever since he started dishing out tracks. He has plan to release another track for the new year, 2018. Eminent is a young and versatile artiste, whose career is so promising. He has got a lot to offer the music industry. watch out for him.
