Hi! I'm Emma DeGroat. I am fourteen years old and am a freshman in highschool. I am making this website for one of my classes called Creative Confidence in Communication. In this class, we have been learning the importance of Visual Communication, and how you can use it in almost any career. We have been working a lot with logos and advertisements, and figuring out how to make them appealing, yet simple.

In my freetime, I love to sing, paint, write, watch netflix, read, play the piano, and play golf.

I've always loved to sing from a young age, and I'm currently in choir class.

Right now, I am not in any art classes, but I enjoy painting on my own time. I especially like using words in my art, and making the words look fancy.

I like writing because it is my way of filtering all the crazy ideas I have. The stories I write are normally unrealistic, and are nothing like eachother.

I've always been in and out of playing piano, but I've come to find that I really enjoy it. It's my way of taking a break from homework and technology.
