Emma O' Neill
Dublin, Ireland.
For the past year, I have been an enthuastic user of many aspects of digital media, in particular blogging and Facebook advertising. I am currently working for a digital marketing firm named Propel Ad, who sell and design advertisments for ecommerce stores through Facebook. I hold the position of content creator as I write bi-weekly blog posts about digital marketing and current trends in Ecommerce. My blog posts include: Ecommerce Essentials- Overcoming the Abandoned Cart, Think Outside the Box- Four Online Businesses that use Facebook Creatively and Pinterest for Ecommerce- An Etsy Case Study. This role allows me to be creative and self-motivated as I choose and manage the content that is created and posted. Through this role, I have learned valuable information and insider knowledge about online marketing, social media and online consumer behaviour.
In additon, I also have created and run my own blog and social media that is about cosmetics and beauty products. I use this to grow and nurture my interest in social media and to continue to learn creative ways to use social media. I designed and maintain my blog solely which involves creating posts, photography and producing content four times a week as well as additional social media including Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram as promotion for the blog.
I am a recent graduate of the National College of Ireland where I achieved a MSC. in the Marketing Course. Prior to this, I studied at University College Dublin where I earned a Bachelors Degree in Arts. Through my education, I have gained experience in digital marketing, and customer relationships with an emphasis on social media, blogging, Google Analytics, online advertising and promotion, etc.
