Emma Blackwell

At 18 years old, New Jersey native Emma Blackwell has taken the first steps in a journey towards excellence. Even though she’s just a freshman at New York University’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, Emma Blackwell is already an experienced writer, editor, event planner and general manager.

Having been accepted to prestigious pre-college programs at both New York University and Syracuse University, Emma has been taught by professionals in the fields of journalism and the music industry. She has had experience in public relations and in music management. Past tasks include: writing press releases, making press kits, promoting events, creating business plans, marketing artists, and targeting key demographics. Emma is also a journalist and has been published in several publications. She is also an event coordinator, having booked showcases and coffeehouses in her hometown. Aside from school, Emma is currently developing her own projects and writing for SOBSU.com

With a rigorous work ethic and a positive attitude, Emma would be a great addition to any staff. Her optimism and creative insight allow her to work well in teams, and as an individual. Emma is also very in-touch with the world and online community, and is always on the cutting edge of new media.
