...so I guess it is no great surprise that I pursued a career in Human Resources.

I love working with people (even the difficult ones!) and trying to understand the psychology of what motivates their actions, good and bad.

Socially and professionally, I enjoy seeing people succeed and 'surprise' themselves with their own capabilities when empowered to push themselves and take a chance. Sometimes things go wrong (..that is life) but we should try to learn from the experience and move on.

For pure pleasure, I enjoy little more than experimenting on friends and family with my 'Willy Wonka' style cupcake creations and then burn it off with a long kayak along the coast.
