Hi my name's Emma Finney and I'd like to share with you my keen passion for wilderness landscapes, the mountains & the therapeutic benefits such places can bring.

In 2010 I set up Persoots.com to capture my experience(s) as I embark on a global journey to discover the 'self'; a journey to discover gold within my shadows, or as some would say a journey to discover 'true' potential...

With my newly discovered passion for adventure and a desire to explore I set off, bound for the remote mountain regions of Nepal, Patagonia, the Celestial Tien Shan, Outer Mongolia & Tibet where I became inspired by the people along with their ancient healing practices.

Persoots was founded to share this inspirational & very personal journey. In collaboration with Responsible Treks, a Kathmandu based travel company, I invite you the reader on a journey to discover the true nature of the human spirit and the gold which can be found hidden within each and every one of us; even the most unlikely.
