Hey, I'm Emma!
I enjoy going on walks and listening to music. Relaxing in the evenings watching movies or hanging out with my family. I have three sisters; Laura (32), Amy (27) and Hayley (25). I am the 'baby of the family' at 23. But my true passion is reading. I definitely read too much. I usually read at least 5 books a week, which has severely messed up my sleeping patterns - I need to learn to prioritise better.
I am currently a fourth-year student studying Business and Arts Management at IADT. I have previous work experience and ad hoc event work with BEM Ireland and Agenda Communications I am now looking to pursue a career in Project Management. I have a particular interest in the publishing industry.
In the last 2 years, I have been working with a company called Agenda Communications, which has been an incredible experience for me. I have made some amazing life-long friends and have got to work on conference events in Lisbon, Barcelona, Paris and most recently, Vienna. My main job with the company has been ‘registration assistant’. However, I have also worked with the finance department and the programme department.
If everything goes according to plan, when I finish up college in May, I hope to work one more summer with Agenda Communications while I save up to move to London, United Kingdom. The dream is to work on events for Bloomsbury Publishing House and then possible career change to editing after a few years working on events and getting a feel for the publishing industry.
