Emma Luker

Emma Luker is a fiddle player, baroque and classical violinist, performer, teacher and session player based in Adelaide, South Australia. She has performed internationally and interstate as a band member, soloist and theatre performer. Emma is also a successful teacher and has many students throughout her home town. She is a member of original world folk band The Fiddle Chicks, with Dee Trewartha, as well as rock band Kelshy and her duo with guitarist Dylan Woolcock, Luker + 1.

From her beginnings as a violinist at age 4, throughout her Bachelor of Music degree (at Flinders Street School of Music, then the Elder Conservatorium), Emma has been noticed and acclaimed as a violinist of sensitivity and versatility.
