EMMA MAY, SKILLED WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER Brighton & Hove’s Number One Wedding Photographer I am Emma, a photographer from Brighton, who lives by the seaside. I love to travel, and I enjoy taking wedding photographs across the UK. My Professional Objective Many newly-weds usually say that their wedding day goes so quickly, and I advise them to try to slow down and have fun. My objective is to capture these wonderful moments for them in a natural, innovative and unobtrusive manner. My Photography Style I really love getting to know each couple that I work with, as I believe every wedding is completely unique. My creative approach is simply relaxed and centred on the couple. In my opinion, photography is a type of storytelling, and I was captivated immediately - from the moment I held a camera. My Home, Work and Environment I live in Hove and travel to surrounding areas. However, my photography practice is situated in Brighton. There are many surrounding venues for a wedding by the sea. As a youngster, I lived in Kemptown, and there is much are a lot of things about this part of Brighton’s vibrant city that I like. I like getting lost in The Lanes, having BBQ’s on the beach, sampling the pubs and taking a picnics on Hove lawns. Here are some of my choice wedding venues: Proud Cabaret, The Bandstand, Hotel Du Vin, Stammer House and The Coach House. Sussex: So Many Beautiful Wedding Venues In my opinion, Sussex is one of the loveliest cities in England. I like taking long muddy walks in the downs, having some cream tea in Alfriston, visiting local farms in spring and swimming in the sea when its warmer. There are a plethora of scenes that create marvellous wedding photos in the Sussex area including boutique hotels, rural barns and Manor Halls. Amongst my favourites are The George in Rye, The Gallivant, Laughton Barns, Ashdown Park, Alexander House and Fitzleroi Barn. My Hobbies When I am not taking photographs, I love to see plays at the theatre, watch movies and read novels.
