Hi, I'm Emma, a freelance/part-time emcee and full-time music enthusiast and book-lover based in Kuala Lumpur.

As a seasoned communications professional with a career spanning the aviation, oil & gas and finance industry, I've hosted many corporate events such as financial announcements, AGMs, media briefings, townhalls, signings, workshops, internal engagements, etc. I've also hosted international conferences such as Asia Oil & Gas Conference (AOGC) and Asia Petroleum Geoscience Conference & Exhibition (APGCE). Well, that's the formal side of things.

I also have experience in hosting dinners, product launches, weddings, parties and other 'fun' (i.e. semi/non-formal) events.

Modus Operandi (MO):

📄The way I operate is with a ready script, usually provided by the client. For more relaxed occasions, a programme flow would suffice. Script-writing also comes as part of a package and can be discussed during the initial meeting.

🗓My availability depends completely on my schedule - any inquiries should start with the date of your event.

💡For every event, I always like to meet with the organizers ahead of time to learn about the overall event flow, the agenda, A/V situation, special requirements, etc.

👘If you have a particular dress code or theme, I'd be happy to comply; just let me know in advance.

🌎Most of my past work has been conducted in English, as this is my strong suit. However, I believe practice makes perfect, and would consider hosting in Bahasa too (a complete script would help a ton!)
