Emmanuel B. McGhee was born and raised on the south side of Chicago. He began writing poetry at the age of 9 and formed a rap group with aspiring actor Eliot Person. In middle school he met long time friend and business partner Chris Hardie, Later known as Cj Flo/Sam Pail. Collectively E.McGhee and Cj wrote and produced records officially starting their career in the recording industry. E.McGhee currently attends Alabama State University where he studies Recording industry business. In 2011 E.McGhee and CJ Flo created Flo Music Group. In 2013 E.McGhee signed both Cj Flo and Owlmerica collective as the first recording artist under Flo Music Group. E.McGhee currently manages Cj Flo, and Owlmerica.
