Emmanuel Kings

Emmanuel Kings is a 24-year-old Nigerian and a graduate of Economics. He is an alumnus of the Young African Leadership Initiative with a proven track record in community development and social advocacy since 2016 having worked in charity organizations and social enterprises. He is also an Alumnus of the African Presidential Leadership Programme which was an initiative of the Egyptian Presidency to work with selected Youths on issues bordering around African peace, prosperity, and sustainability in 2019. He has worked as a researcher and data analyst with a passion for leveraging economic tools and technology for sustainable development as can be seen in his work with Youth Action for Peace and United Community (YAPUC) Network as a Head of Mapping and Strategy Committee and other gender-related issues; and the Global Youth Biodiversity Network (GYBN) Africa chapter advocating for preventing the loss of biodiversity and preserving Earth's natural resources. He currently works as the Director of Budget and Strategic Planning at Uduak Charles Diaries; a non-governmental organization focused on grassroots development via five core sectors – health, food and water, education, community building, and youth empowerment. He is also an SDG advocate who seeks to apply data to solve real-life issues and proffer practical solutions to long-standing global problems.
