Emmanuel Andres Artusa

As a young International Relations Analyst, Emmanuel Artusa has worked in several areas related to international trade, market research, political and economical analysis, joint-ventures opportunities, etc. Recently he worked as a senior adviser and analyst for the Royal Thai Embassy, reporting directly to the Ambassador and the Secretary in charge of the Financial and Political Section. Three of the market reports on thai products opportunities on the Argentine market that he wrote were published in the local thai newspapers. Also he organized several high-ranking level meetings between thai and argentine officers. One of them was attended by the Thai Trade Representative and the Thai Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs. Also he assisted the thai commercial attaché on business matchmaking on improving the trade relations since he has made many contacts with several companies, chambers and trade associations throughout his work experience. Previously, Artusa worked for the Okita Foundation, an argentine-Japanese NGO whose aim was to develop the economic and trade relations between both countries, where he wrote reports on bilateral trade and market opportunities and also organized trade missions to Japan and Korea. He holds a degree in International Relations from the Catholic University of Salta and he is currently enrolled in a postgraduate programme leading to the degree in Economy and Business with Asia Pacific countries and India forming a part in the first group of students who study this new career in Argentina. He is the director of the programmes and projects at the Argentine Center for International Studies where he coordinates a group of researchers on Asian studies. He is fluent in both English and Spanish. He is also currently studying Portuguese as his third language.
