Emmanuel Elebesunu is a Medical Laboratory Scientist with a passion for research in public health, infectious disease epidemiology, and health systems strengthening. As an early career researcher, he has actively contributed to scientific discourse through research and evidence synthesis, including over 25 publications, 2 book chapters, and several citations.

He is currently a Research & Communications Associate at Bloom Public Health, and also works as a Program Manager at the Society for Disease Prevention (SFDP), where he coordinates public health research and advocacy projects in West Africa and beyond.

His research works have been presented in scientific conferences, including the International Festival of Public Health (IFPH) hosted by the University of Manchester, the 5th HIV Research for Prevention (HIVR4P) Conference in South America, and the 2nd ECOWAS Lassa Fever Conference in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire, all attended through fully funded travel bursaries. He is also a Journalism Fellowship Award recipient from the International AIDS Society (IAS).
